Readiness Check

Review how your team uses digital tools, works across functions, understands customers and manages data. Get specific checks to discuss, with sources you can read.

Start the readiness check

Start with what your team does today.

Answer for the part of the business you know. “Not sure” and “Not applicable” do not count against you.

Digital tools
Before a commerce change goes live, does your team test the buying tasks it affects?
Can your team trace an order across systems and identify who handles a failed handoff?
Team culture
For a digital initiative, do the involved teams agree who can resolve conflicting priorities?
Does feedback from sales, service and operations influence your digital backlog?
Customer experience
Do you observe or ask customers about their buying tasks before prioritizing changes?
After a change, do you check whether the intended customer task became easier?
Data and insights
Before publishing product records, do you check required attributes, consistency and accuracy?
Can business users find the definitions and source records behind the digital metrics they use?

Based on Master B2B’s four dimensions. This shortened check does not assign a maturity stage or rank your company.

How this works

Eight self-report questions cover Master B2B's four dimensions. Each answer leads to a suggested check, without a score, maturity stage or peer ranking. Not sure and not applicable are treated separately from a reported gap.

Optional AI suggests the order of existing checks. It cannot write findings or add research. Without it, all checks remain available.

Sources and limitations

The Lab uses public frameworks and qualitative research context. Its questions are editorial adaptations, not the original survey or full maturity worksheet. No comparable participant dataset or validated predictive model is used.

With AI enabled, the relevant answers are sent to Anthropic to suggest a discussion order. The saved summary and public link exclude your full answers and private entries.
